The day before the Christmas
I took my little family and flew to Sweden. During Covid, I know. More about that later because that is a story on its own.
Its been a challenging couple of weeks but the last couple of days it feels like the air has cleared and its more harmonious, more joy.
Today we have, like most days spent our day at grandmas house. Grandma Suz as we call her. Mathéo´s grandma. My youngest sister Jasmin and her husband Enric flew in yesterday from Barcelona. So this year we are all together in one country for Christmas. That is rare in our family.
The best part of this Christmas is, without a doubt that Mathéo exist. I get butterflies in my belly just thinking about spending Christmas with him. My son. Very cool!
We went for our morning walk with some takeaway coffee. Then breakfast at grandma Suz, I then ducked out for some last minute shopping at Täby Centrum and Ambrose went with my uncle to look for a new car for us. We are staying in Sweden for 3 months and it better for us to but a used car than to rent the entire time.
After the shopping we all met back at my mum´s place for lunch and Christmas planning. The day before Christmas, I love this day because its all so exciting. So much to look forward too!
During my speed shopping at Täby Centrum ( speed because I dont want to spend any unnecessary time among people during Covid) I found a couple of matching outfits for us. The red velour set for me and Mathéo and then another set for the whole family. The left sizes were a bit all over the place. That is the problem when you shop the day before Christmas I guess. But I have high hopes that Ambrose, Mathéo and I are going to look amazing hahaha. If not good, we will at least look cute with that boy.
Here is the red velour matching set, Everyone in the family besides my mum laughed at us. No wait, my sister Hanie liked it too.
I think its so “too much” that it makes it look great. Cannot explain better than that.
Nope! I just looked at these pictures again and I love them. They make me happy and that is all that matters. Hope Ambrose lets me keep all the matching sets I bought 🙂
Wishing everyone a good Christmas tomorrow or the next day.
