Sunday with the new foal
Today we ( I ) woke up way too late so no much time to just relax around the house in the morning before we had to leave. We went shopping for birthday presents, had a quick sushi roll for lunch and then drove to Chrissi and ThageĀ“s farm to see the latest addition to the family. LeonardĀ“s foal. Such a pretty boy with long beautiful legs!

Finishing our partner visa day
This day was, no kidding, divided into two very different parts ; Fist half – our favorite breakfast, driving around with Michael to find a perfect beach, with the perfect surf. Reading Eckart Tolle on a beach towel in the sun while Ambrose and Michael surfed. Lunch by the beach. We shared vegetarian pizza, spicy chicken wings and a jambalaya filled with seafood!
Part two: me and Ambrose locked ourselfs in out bedroom, kicked poor Micheal out and started to seriously finish our partner visa. Its almost midnight and we are still going…. Our bodies are in pain, our minds cant even focus anymore, Puh! Worth it though š šGot to go back to VVVIIIIISSSSAAAA. God, think I’m going insane.

Wedding day :)
My latest recomendation. If you are in Rhodes have stop at “Lid & Jar” . Super friendly staff, nice breakfast, free wifi and notĀ expensive. And afterwards go to the asian grocery store just next to Lid & Jar.
Went to mine, Hanie and Jasmins sushi train place in the city. Not as nice as when I had them there…This is the UNBELIEVABLE unromantic place where we registered our relationship. Our “priest” was called Augustus, just like my fav character from Disney and I laughed the whole time we were there because the whole thing felt so bizarre. š
I don’t know what these treeĀ“s are called but I think they look so nice with their purple flowers.
Registration dinner was at a this great Greek restaurant called “Xenos” on Burlington St in Crows Nest. Ambrose had the Crackling Pork Belly and I had the mousaka with greek salad. Both really delisious. This place has outdoor settings, great vibe, and a decent vine list. Its cosy and the staff were nice as well as their prices. I especially liked their bar setting and the open kitchen. The only thing missing was the greek music which would make the ambiance too much more authentic in my wiew. Also the fact that they had stupid TV screens!!? Such a turnoff when restaurants have that. We are already planing to go back to have their specialty; pork with scallops. The table next to us were having it and we got jealous. Good to remember is that their portions are quite big so don’t order too much. Overall, Im super glad this was where we had our registration dinner š

nursing
hello hello,
We have both mean home today since Ambrose got food poising since last night. Me and his dad drove like 2 car chiefs to an night open pharmacy last night to get him some medicine and something to help his dehydration. So just to get him to not be bored and actually want to stay home and rest, we drove in and rented three movies. First we watched a New Zealand movie calledĀ Hunt for theWilder-people”, really good movie, I can recommend it. and then we watched “Room” which was about a mother and her 5 year old son Jack who were captivated and locked in a room by a man. The mother had been there for 7 years! It was terrifying watching it because we both could not get it out of our head that there are people right now that are in those situations in real life. Again, good movie, liked hunt for the wilderpeople more though.
The pictures from the two short moments we got outside to get some fresh air. Of course there were good surf and Ambrose was jealous.Looked at my flowers! I always make sure to have fresh flowers in my home, no mather where I lived. These are Dragon Lilies and they smell sooo good. Everyone should get fresh flowers for their home, they really bright up a room more than anything. At least to me. Okey, now back to nursing my dehydrated little pumpkin š

MondayĀ“s
I usually love Mondays, new fresh start, beginnings, energized and rested (sometimes at least š ) from the weekend etc. But not today. This Monday is just filled with a kind of restless, unease feeling. Like I cant figure out what to do with myself, where to go, where to start.
Just came home for lunch after having a coffee and finishing at least one part for our Partner Visa. I did not finish anything, I did not even open it.
The restaurant I was planing to sit at and do some work is apparently not open today. I was suppose to organize a canvas painting with aunt LeeĀ“ and she is not even picking up the phone. I thought I was starting my training today but nope…
Just one of those days when you don’t feel like doing anything. And even though we usually tend to get really anxious when we have a lot to do but our body and mind just wont do those things. I think that’s just exactly what we should do then – nothing at all. This is a picture Ambrose took of me this weekend while we went to a park to see if we could climb some threes. We both are a big fan of Fig threes, those with giant trunks and roots, and this park had a lot of them.

Arabic in western sydney
We decided to drive out to western part of Sydney today because Ambrose wanted to see the new development out there. This apparently means someone built a bunch of hoses in the middle of nowhere that all cost over 1 million Australian dollars. There was an opening to a 5 bedroom house that we had a look at. The house was beautiful, I will say that. BUT, it was in the middle of nowhere ( apparently they are building shops/ public transport soon) and when you open the windows, you could almost touch your neighbors house. ThatĀ“s how close they where together. This house was 2 mil aud, that is over 13.000 000 Swedish Kr ???!!!Ā Fucking ridiculous.
After this we went to an middle eastern restaurant called “El Jannah”. I lokked it up on my restaurant app: Foursquare. Ambrose said all his friends love this place. When we arrived the place was packed. And the food was… blah. Unfortunately, the meat was not tender at all. the flavors were all there so I believe they have potential for sure. After picking up some groceries and get some baklava from a really cool place “El Sweets” we went back home to safety. (western Sydney is suppose to be a bit let safe then the rest of Sydney)
Going to bed now, too much in my head. Good nigh š

Family Time
One day its sunny and the next its raining like crazy! Not easy to plan ahead here at the moment. But we have just been going to the beach as much as we can so Ambrose can surf (and be happy haha) and then we have been hanging out with the family mostly. Today we all had breakfast at our favorite place, little piggy and then after checking the surf we all drove to see Xavier for rest of the afternoon. Just want to take him home with us every time I see him. Best kid in town!
We are super tired and cold because of the constant weather change, so now Gabe made a fire and we are going to watch a movie “The Power of One”.

The Fisherman’s Wharf
Its been such an incentive day, emotionally at least. We decide to start our day with the beach to surf and swim. Breakfast at The Little Piggy. Back home to do some paperwork for Ambrose, me and Leonard cleaned out our cars. Then we had a beach walk, got amazing seafood from The Fisherman’s Wharf at Woy Woy, which is such an great place to get fresh seafood. The staff are really great and I really like that you can tell they loved their job! We BBQ the fish at the terrace watching the storm while listening to Pavarotti. Papa G came home and joint our little party. I never drink so I got sick right after we went to bed. But worth it though, such good night!
