Bleeding sky
This is the view from our home right now! They say right now, NSW is the hottest place on the planet. Its awfully hot but its worth it when you have this magnificent sky to stare at. Normally Ambrose is not a big fan of when I ask him to take pictures but for this he did, haha I think he took 20 pictures of me posing in front of our windows. You cant even see me but that is not a problem with that sky in the background!
What else has been happening this weekend.. well we had Adam’s 30th on Saturday. It was a lot of fun despite the 39 degrees around midnight. But the best part was the unplanned little after-party or whatever the hell was going on when we all came back to the house. I did not have a lot of alcohol so I actually witnessed this madness. All these crazy people were trashing Adam’s house, and he decided to deny he had 10 people sleeping in his house by going to bed 🙂
Sunday morning I woke up at 6am. made myself chai tea and read recipe from the book “Masterchef Australia” for 3 hours before the house started to finally wake up. We dragged ourselfs to get some brunch and spent rest of the day snorkeling, climbing rocks bu the ocean and swimming. Had a quick fish and ship lunch, cuddled with Xavier before driving back home. So grateful for our amazing house. I love it so much, feels great every time I open the door.

Use me
Isn’t this such nice quote from Martin Luther King? I was look around and trying to understand more about Instagram. Yes I know its not rocket science but I just got it and not that into it to be honest. Anyway, somehow I got into Adriana Lima’s and saw she had posted this quote. And I just loved it. Maybe the part of “God” might scare some but now me. That world is equal to “Life” or “Universe” to me so I don’t mind it at all. In fact, it makes me enthusiastic and calm at the same time, its hard to explain. I am a true believer in this Omnipotent, this Power, this something Greater.
I am not religious at all, in fact I believe religion to be the cause of most pain in this world. So no, that’s not it, to me there is something far more greater that one of us alone, that “thing” that includes all of us, that force that we no matter who we are, surrender to when there is nothing else that we can do.Who cares what we call it, its there! And I believe sooner or later all of us will experience that.
Yesterday at my Pilates Reformer class I noticed that they had printed some quotes on the walls. You know as they do in Yoga or gym studios. This one was so nice. They had asked Mother Theresa what she says when she prays and she said; “I say nothing. I listen”. ♡ ♡ ♡

Heartbeats
Again at the hospital, this time to monitor my heart rate. For a couple of weeks now I had some issues with my breathing. Now they have taken blood tests, X-ray’s and now this heart monitor which I have to wear for 24 h. My mom always says health is everything, and yep, it sure is!
In the evening I went to Apple store on George st for a short coarse on IMovie. Did not got all the information I needed, might go back again but at least I got the basics now.
Been the longest day so now off to bed. I fill in the rest of the story tomorrow. Good night 🙂

South Coast
Team Snorkeling at Guerilla Bay
Crazy 1 and crazy 2 decided to jump from this very very high
cliff! Like I didn’t have trouble breathing as it is already !Hiiiiii 🙂 🙂
We are back! Had a great time but the 5 h drive back with around 48 degrees (!!!) in a car where the A/C is not at its best was, well, exhausting hahaha .
Anyway, I am trying to learn to get a video of our trip up here. Think its the only way to show some of these incredibly beautiful places I had the pleasure to see during these last days. Some of us went back to our house to somehow trying to survive the heat together. So now night-swim and pizza!
Enjoy your Sunday:)_______________________________________________________

EKG
Today I was at the hospital doing a EKG. Irregular heart beats apparently 🙁 And low blood pressure they said. I had blood test, X-ray and they are going to put me on a holter monitor to supervise my heart rhythm for 24 h and then we’ll see what all the tests says. I know everything is fine, just pro-cations from the Dr to exclude the possibilities I guess.
Wish I brought Ambrose with me that all, this was a little scary…Now home to pack! We are leaving for a weekend away to Merry Beach, 4 hours south of Sydney ! Kangaroos and lagoon blue water here we come!!

Baby Blue
Saw my first “big” spider in Randwick
At Maroubra Beach
Good Monday everyone 🙂
Both me and Ambrose love hotels, and even if we are not traveling we find any excuse to check into a hotel a weekend or a night. For me, this obsession with hotels has been going on for years. When we stayed up the coast we had way more excuses to check into a hotel. It was too far to catch a taxi back after an event in the city 🙂
Nowadays, we don’t really have the same need to stay in a hotel. Our home IS like a hotel haha. Here are some pictures from when we were in the city for some birthday or some party, dont remember, but we stayed at The Randwick Lodge http://www.sydneylodges.com/randwick-lodge/
They had just done a massive renovation and I really really liked this place. Very small but it had that classic french decor which I love. I would have stayed in most of the time at this place and just order room service, but my partner has ants in his pants so as you can see, there was not much “hanging around the room” going on.
First we visited a pet shop that had alot of birds you could play with. We had soo much fun in there. I am not used to all these animals growing up in Sweden! In the afternoon we went to Maroubra Beach to eat lunch and check out these tiny kids doing the most amazing things in the skate-park. One of the best thing being a kid is that you are fearless. I was impressed! My Monday has been dedicated to learning. I would like to start putting up some videos. I think its easier to “experience” and get the real feel of things from a video than just text and pictures. We see how it goes!
