My day just got better!
Monday is here! I tried to sleep in but just tossed and turned in bed for a while. Then I tried looking at stuff on my phone, something I tough myself never to do when I just woke up. But still could not shake off that unsettling feeling I had. So I ate breakfast while watching an episode of The Vampire Diaries. Then I hit the road, I cannot run because of my injuries but I can walk and I did. A long long walk, its started raining, I hid under one of these giant trees they have here in Australia. Still after all these years here they still are amazing to me.
And then I walk home to THIS surprise. A giant birthday cake, its from my family in Barcelona. I cannot thank you guys!! It made my day 🙂 And the best is that is huge hahah!
I haven’t tasted it yet, waiting for Ambrose to get home. I’m gonna make dinner and then its fiesta! My plan is to celebrate my birthday again today with that cake:)Today was a sucky day and I cant even explain how much it means to me to have you guys in my life…

Monica’s Hens
Some pictures from Monica’s Hens last night. And what a successful night! Hannah and the girls had organised everything so nice, I am really impressed. I a love love love how generous, kind and fun these girls are! Thank God that Ambrose’s girlfriends are as crazy fun as my friends back in Europe!We drank too much, at too much, danced too much and harassed the DJ waay to much. In other words – A perfect night 🙂
Today I had brunch booked in with my former boss and friend Ida. I was really good to see her, think we haven’t seen each other for maybe over 2 years! I took her to my favorite strip of restaurants on Blues Bay road and we sat for a couple of hours and just talked old memories, laughed at crazy moment at TMC ( our workplace) and we tried to tell each other whats been happening for the last years in our lives. Not easy to be done over just a brunch haha but of course we are meeting again soon. Perhaps a wine tasting road trip to Mudgee. Or The Great Barrier Reef….we see but I would love to do something with her now that she is her. She is definitely one of my favorite people I met during my years in Barcelona! After a couple of hours Ambrose came and joined us and of course he liked her a lot as well which I knew he would.
Now dinner and sleep, last night was intense ……..

Tacos
I’m lying in bed drinking ginger tea because I feel something is going on inside my body. So ginger is my secret granny remedy whenever I feel a bit sick. Its Friday and Ambrose made us a very tasty taco dinner, this time with chicken and a proper guacamole Mmmm! Rest of today has been good, studied ALL day. I am now determined to finish reading ” NLP for Dummies” I know I know, but this NLP stuff is really hard! Anyway, another good thing is that I met a girl from our building that I really liked and we accidentally bumped into each other at a coffeshop later that day. We got to talk for a while and I dont want to say much yet but we came up with some good potential ideas. We are meeting next Monday to take it further 🙂
I always think of my cousin Samira when I have Taco’s hahah we used to hate that she had this weird thing to make tacos for 12 people when it was only 4 or 5 of us. Remember how irritated we all used to get of this, and that she always ate so fast when we had tacos hahaha. Sounds funny now. Her f´favorite food are tacos and pancakes. Non of us wanted to eat those dishes with her ahahaha poos Samira, miss her alot! She would love Australia.

last few days from my phone..
These last few days in pictures. Snapchat and looking at the sky has always been two things I do when I relax a just hand out at home. Now I found myself with repeatedly going for this new drink (well its new to me) Think its called Tumeric Latte and its as strange as it is tasty. And healthy! Ever since I had my little heart things I try as much as I can to stay away from coffee. Witch sucks penises because I love coffee even though its a drug, bad for you bla bla bla. I have a coffee now and then, I just added this Tumeric Latte situation into my life.Its hot coconut milk, grated tumeric, grated ginger and cinnamon. Its all fair trade and organic.

That is one of my goals, to have as much as possible of the products I consume to be organic and fair trade.Now to something else, this morning after a short but incentive workout I found this guy called Brendon Burchard on Youtube. He is the author of “The Motivation Manifesto”, a book I never heard of BUT that’s not relevant. I was speaking to my sister and we were agreeing that its more vital to actually DO and ACT out in our daily lives everything we learned so far instead of just continuing reading without putting it into action.

Some days ago it was the birthday of this beautiful human being, my little sister Hanie. As I was looking around to find pictures of her I was overwhelmed, all I feel is pride and love and just..joy. This girl has always been and still is the best, in every way. She is fun,extremely beautiful and truly kind. We have traveled alot together and as I am seeing all those memories we shared together I feel so grateful that I have the luck to have her as my sister. That might be a strange thing to say but its true, she has that kind of majestic elegance over her that is indescribable. Mixing that with how fun she is to hang out with, well can’t get any better than that can it!?
Everyone, exactly everyone that meets her and spend some time with her fall in love with her. I know its something people only say but it is true that Hanie is unique and rare and everyone who has her as part of their life feel lucky. And I am definitely one of those lucky once. All I wish is that her talent, beauty and kindness mirrors in the kind of life she truly deserves.
Hanie I love you more than I ever told you. Thank you for everything you do for me, Jasmin and mum.

Birthday with the stars
Finally I have some pictures from my birthday surprise. Thursday morning we woke up very early and drove off to Siding Spring Observatory. I had no idea and only found out where we were going when Ambrose handed me a birthday card in the car that same morning.
If anyone is fascinated by stars and planets as I am I really recommend this place. The area is called Coonabarabran and it’s 5 1/2 hour drive from Sydney. It was a long drive, I wont lie but so damn worth it!
Here are some pictures from our stay there and I will post more tomorrow. I have a full day but I am enjoining doing this writing on a everyday basis and having the possibility to go back and look at all these wonderful experiences I have in my life. Keeps me humble and it keeps me grateful.See you tomorrow 🙂

Miami party
I have alot of stories from these last couple of days, and even more pictures but I want to start with last night. Ambrose friend Cherise and her boyfriend got engaged and had a party. As you might be able to see from these (incredibly blurry)Â pictures the theme was Miami, that’s why we all looked as we did!
Me and Ambrose was really tired from the almost 6 hour drive back from my birthday surprise in Coonabarbran (will upload all those beautiful pictures tomorrow) so we did a small effort to go out and buy Miami clothes, like a white blazer for Ambrose but we could not find anything at the shops and decided to make some outfit up from what we had in our closet instead. And this was the result. I looked like a Latino prostitute and Ambrose looked like Pablo Escobar’s white cousin. Ambrose wanted to shave everything and just leave a mustache but after I forbid him he took my mascara and sort of “painted” himself an “Miami Vice” mustache hahaha Love it”

So much amazing art. This one is Aboriginal.
Again, this damn city is pretty. So damn pretty. We woke up really early and let in the electrician who did some work in the kitchen for us. After that we went straight to have a tourist day in the city. We started with a coffee in our favorite building and then it was full on. Museums, art galleries, libraries and of course The Botanic Garden.
After many many hours we were absolutely exhausted. The humidity, noise and all the buzz in a busy city is more tiring than one imagine. Or maybe its just us hahaha, anyway we walked all the way so I could get my delicious Ramen from my favorite Ramen restaurant. Ambrose is not a fan of this place, but it is my birthday week and all so…… 🙂Now we are home cooking dinner and watching the crazy storm, its like the sky has opened up and let all its rain fall down at once! And tomorrow we are off to some adventure. I have no idea where or what, its a birthday surprise…
