trivia night with sister2sister
Hours before all the gusts arrive. Prep, prep, prep
Emotional speeches. Hearing what some of these girls have been trough was not easy to hear. Made me even more proud to be part of Sister 2 Sister. Such an amazing thing Jessica has built up!
Bidding on some of some of those amazing things such as diamond necklaces, resorts, whiskey, etc. Forced Ambrose to pose for me all night 🙂
Winner of the diamond necklaces!
One of my favorite part of the night was when the actual trivia started. Every table was involved which was so much fun to watch and participate in. Here is part of our table which was big and little sisters, volunteers, staff, the founder Jessica, newsreader Jacinta Tynan, and of course, Ambrose! <3
Prep-talk before going on stage.
One of the winner tables from last night.
Auction started and everyone was trying to get their hands on the goodies.
My absolute favorite part of the night! We are all exhausted and had too much energy in our bodies I think. Jessica said that we could take some balloons with us. I am a huge fan of balloons, strange thing to be excited about but nevertheless, I am! I took almost ALL of the balloons with me. Forced them into our cab with Ambrose , Marnee and Aliye.
Great night. Thank you to everyone involved!
Well today I decided to spend my whole day chilling. I woke up early to drive Ambrose to the train (had the biggest smile on my face when I saw all the balloons in the garage this morning! ) back at the house I did my morning meditation.
Made myself some tea and spent the rest of the day in bed studying NLP. I don’t ever remember spending a whole day in bed, but its so damn colt! And my feet are seriously damaged from wearing high heals from 11 am to 11pm yesterday. I was in charge of taking all the pictures and handling all our social media for our trivia night for Sister 2 Sister yesterday. Maybe not the best idea to wear high heals…….
Anyway, that has been my whole day, had no food and way too lazy to get out and buy some so it was biscuits and tea in bed. I never take the time to read anymore. So glad I did today because I have learned so damn much about our brain and habits and values and beliefs. I am going to share with you guys. Just not tonight, I just want to go back to reading more more more 🙂 🙂

lecture at UNSW
Yesterday was a very very long day. Holy Moly…. Woke up around 5 am, hoped into the car with Ambrose. Did a long but productive day at the Sister 2 Sister office. After I took the train back to North Sydney to meet up with Ambrose and some of his colleagues. They were going to a lecture on at UNSW on Housing, Affordability and Economics something…….
They are interested in this kind of stuff. I was there for the free food, drinks and of course, getting a ride home!I did enjoy the speaker though. Cant remember his name, but it was a professor from Scotland and as most Scottish I met, they are funny and charming people.
It was a great day. I have missed being super busy like this. Since the accident where I hurt my neck I’ve been less able to do as much. So it was good. But I have to say, with the move and a long day like that I was tired as hell once we arrived back to the house. I went to bed straight away and slept from 10pm and woke up midday. Usually I get up around 6am!?!
Today I took it easy, I went for a walk, had a coffee. Came back and started unpacking, washing, and cleaning and dusting. In a very slow pace, I’ve decided a long time ago to eliminate stress ( as much as possible ) from my life, and I think I am doing a great job !
Now its pasta bolognese and State Of Origin in front of the fireplace. Just went of the phone with my mum who lives in Barcelona, she told me they are sweating because its around 35 degrees over there. Here in Australia we have like 10 degrees, so we are all really enjoying the fire 🙂

Breakfast in Surry Hills
After all this moving, packing, lifting I have to say, my body is in need of a massage. This morning I could not find any of my toiletries. I then remembered that I had left some of our products in the bathroom, and the cleaners must have thrown them out! Oh well, not much to do about it now, even if it sucks a little bit.
The sky is still gray but the city ( I am having breakfast in Surry Hills before going to volunteering ) is busy and I love that.
I thought I start the day a bit still because I have a full day ahead of me. Woke up 5:45, going to be at the office from 9 to 5 and the going back to the flat in North Sydney for a task, meeting up Ambrose and to drive to The Sydney University for a lecture. We are going to be home around 10PM. Looooonnnggggg Day!Okey one hour at the time, first stop, Sister 2 Sister. xx

Luxury glamping
Good morning!
I am sitting and getting some work done at our rooftop while the appartment is getting cleaned out. Today at 4:30 pm we are dropping off the keys. I am so grateful for our time at our home, wish the next person living here the same lovely experience.Last night as I mentioned earlier was some kind of “Glamping” hahaha. A luxury version of camping.
The whole place was emptied out so as you can see we made the best of it. By far, one of my favorite and most memorable nights at our home. One of the things I love and admire abou Ambrose is his ability to make every situation cozy, romantic and always filled with laughter. We had a very late Ramen lunch so we just got some small stuff like oysters and piece of fish tacos for dinner. It was great.Got to run off to lunch with Ambrose now. Paying the cleaning company, signing some papers in the afternoon and we are good to go! Wish everyone a great rest of Monday, and I see you guys soon.

Danks street produce merchants
I have no idea if I have mentioned it before because its been alot these last few day BUT we are moving from our apartment in North Sydney. Yesterday the moving truck came and the day was just focused on getting it done!
We have both moved quite a lot so we got it all done in 4 hours which is pretty great. With moving help of course! After we had unload everything we decided to be done with it all for a while. We drove back to our now empty apartment, took the longest shower and went out for dinner. We wanted Rio Noodles, the number one Ramen place in Sydney, but the line was about 20 meters of people waiting just to get in so…no thank you!
Instead we went to, what must be The Best Thai around this area. Its called Triology and its located on the main street ( where all the restaurants are) in Neutral Bay. So damn good every time! We had red curry with duck and crispy pork belly Pad see ew.Now its Sunday, we woke up early at Ambrose family house and drove straight in to the city. First stop was breakfast at
Le Renaissance Patisserie, french style, which for me is coffee and croissant. Fantastic start of the day if you ask me 🙂After that we strolled around the Danks street produce merchants which is filled with local produces. Amazing place!
We decided to have a “picnic” of tapas our last night in our house, and this market had all the great stuff for it.
I am already excited about this. We have no furniture at all so we are going to sleep on a mattress on the floor. We have candles, a picnic and maybe a movie on our laptop. Late night swim at the rooftop pool.
Its gonna be great!!Thai food at its best.

Best Friends
There is alot going on these days. We are packing up. Moving. I am visiting Europe. Ambrose is changing jobs. I have to organize Dr’s appointments. We are booking moving trucks and cleaners. And on and on it goes. Its alot but I am really excited. New adventures 🙂
I always make sure that my mornings are calm and nice. I have been starting my days with breakfast at one of the local cafe’s around us. If I start my day like this I am going definitely being more efficient and happy while doing all that needs to be done throughout the rest of the day. That´s for sure. As I had my black coffee, today at The Bunker. I came across old pictures of my best friends back in Sweden. We have been going strong for many many years now haha. Such great memories. I got all chocked up and felt such gratitude while going true old memories of all of us. Shit I am blessed to have these girls in my life. Wow 🙂Here are some old memories ……..
Hanging out at Susie’s balcony, chain smoking and talking for hours….When we all run for charity….. spontaneous boating day with Åsa…..Back in a “black cab”, trying to get home with the sunset after being out dancing. Love Swedish summer nights… hahaha, I give you this…. I have been ridiculed like crazy for this picture. Crayfish party…… We used to sit for hours with a coffee and cigarettes talking and talking and talking…… Again, hahahha no words needed for this picture…… Dancing like there is no tomorrow …….. One of us found an old photo album with old goodies…..Mikaela & Claes’s wedding ……….. pre-drinks getting ready to go out………… When I come to Susie’s house to pick her up and I found her in this ugly outfit 🙂 🙂

Boner’s 30th birthday out on the countryside
Posing with the birthday boy! His name is actually Burner, I through it was Boner when I first met him, so now the poor guy is stuck with it. I blame the Australian accent nobody really can understand!
Me and Kate trying to get pictures with the enormous fire behind us 🙂
Boner tried to get us all to do some games here none of us really got the rules.
They had food coming all night. BBQ baby lamb on spit that they had bough from the neighbors farm was by far my favorite. Hmmmm
The giant fire that kept all the guest hot all night.
We all camped out there on their farm. Woke up to having one of the uncles cooking us breakfast that we all had around the fireplace.
Next night we all stayed over at Drew and Ellie’s house. I had to take a picture of the veggies they grow in their garden.
Joke of the weekend. Heath booked Ambrose as “Ambrouzchs” at every restaurant we made a reservation for the entire long-weekend. hahah
Found this hanging outside the veranda on the farm 🙂

Wine tasting in Mudgee
Fireplace, great wines, amazing view overlooking the fields of grapes that you are sipping on. Whats not to like!?
One last stop before heading back home. HERE at Logan Wines
Ambrose and Heath always being “too friendly” hahaha. Such little creeps! Wonder what the poor woman who took this photo for us must have though…. 🙂
Beautiful beautiful Mudgee! Felt so good being back here.
I am planing to make you guys a list of my personal favorite wineries for wine tasting in Mudgee. Would you guys like that?
I have not yet been in Hunter Valley, which is probobly the most famous area for wine here in Australia. However, I do have alot of friends who has been there and they are all in agreement that Mudgee out-beats Hunter Valley. Its just a level of charm and authenticity among the wineries here that is very unique I think. Ambrose always tells me that we should buy a house here, and I have always told him no. But visiting Mudgee this time, I am really starting to change my mind. I would love to have a weekend getaway house here.I will return with my list of “Must visit while in Mudgee” for you guys. Until then, get you Mudgee inspiration HERE
