watsons bay boutique hotel
I think my phone needs to be replaced asap. Cant take any nice pictures anymore ant it is bothering me because these places and occasions you want to keep as a memory.
Today we accepted our invite to our friend Jackson´s birthday. They had invited us weeks ago but after our trip to Brisbane last weekend, both Ambrose and I have been a bit sick. But I am glad we went, we always have such a fun time with Jackson and his girlfriend Kimberley.
We had lunch and drinks at the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel which s a very pretty spot here in Sydney. The pictures might not be great but today was alot of fun!
And we randomly saw three couples having their wedding at that spot. Felt weird not being invited haha
Now I am curling into bed with Ambrose, we are watching cartoons. 🙂Good night xx

Natalia & Johns wedding
Its been a while – yes I know! But no point stressing about that. What have I been doing? Well life has been different ever since we got the Partner Visa.
But somethings never change and that is us going to weddings! This time it was Natalia & Johns wedding – and what a wedding it was!
So lets just pick up from this wedding day in North Sydney.
Ambrose and I booked a hotel for the weekend in North Sydney – just a couple of minutes away from the wedding ceremony. And also our old amazing apartment!
A blurry shot of the newlyweds after the ceremony.
And while the bride and groom went to have their wedding pictures taken the rest of us went to our old favorite hangout place – The Treehouse
Right after this picture I received a call that I got the job I went for an interview for that same morning. Just a little happy side-note . Nothing to do with Natalia and & Johns wedding 🙂
Natalia & John have know each other since they were just children <3
I have to add a video. there is no way you get the actual feeling of a (half) Lebanese wedding with just pictures. You actually need to experience 300 guests dancing to men in drums.
Neither Ambrose or I have anything to do with Lebanon BUT I am, without a doubt, 100 % having these drums at our wedding. “Hashtag slightlyobsessed” …..And after I stole all the flowers from the wedding, (and made Ambrose take some for me as well) we ended up back at our hotel. With an extended checkout of course!
Congratulations Natalia & John – We really had the best time at your wedding!

obsessed with the amazing nature of Australia
I can’t even remember when I became this nature obsessed person – but I am. Cannot get enough of how beautiful the nature is here in Sydney, well most of the parts of Australia that I have visited.
It’s all so dramatic and majestic! Okey maybe that’s enough of my whole nature obsession but you will see more of that in here for sure haha.
I am sitting having my avocado sandwiches before heading into Sydney for a meeting. Think I am about to start working here in Australia. Last time I worked here was years ago and I cannot wait to get back. Back to a “normal” life. I wont say the Visa process has been the hardest thing in my life but it has for sure been the weirdest thing in my life to go through. But that is thank God over and done with! Maybe that’s why I have time to obsess over nature nowadays ?! 😉Now a quick shower and getting ready for my meeting and then I have tickets to the theater – Alice in Wonderland. Just have to find someone to go with me. I need to start making friends hahahaha
Have a great Thursday xx

Natalia’s hens party at manly Pavilion
Brides to be meeting at their hens party
I guess haven’t been around much these last few days, or should I say weeks. So I will jump right in and try to fill you guys in.
Lets start with Natalia’s fabulous hens party in Manly with all the girls. The venue Natalia’s bridesmaids choose was Manly Pavilion. I had never been here and it took me FOREVER to get there (stupid coast) but, it was definitely worth it!
Everything was beautiful and I had so much fun – especially during the scavenger hunt that the bridesmaids had plan for all of us girls.Excited to watch Natalia walk down the aisle <3 There has been a lot of weddings in 2017 and 2018 and I think Natalia and John’s is the last one for this year. So I think it is going to be extra special for the whole group 🙂

Easter weekend in Manly
Our Easter this year. We decided to spend it with our friends Katelyn and Heath in Manly.
Easter got to be filled with a mini hike with great views, BBQ with the best grilled meat any of us had ever prepared, cocktails at Manly wharf and late night games at their home in Manly. In other words, a pretty good Easter if you ask me.Heath and Ambrose are basically the same person. And they love to spend time together so on the Saturday Katelyn and I decided to NOT follow them around in their endless search for the “perfect” surf like two groupies. Instead we enjoyed our Easter Saturday with swims and naps ( very tired after all the Easter festivities) at Narrabeen beach. We had coffee at Manly beach, strolled around the manly weekend markets and ended our day with THE BEST Poké Bowl I’ve ever had!
Today is another Saturday and I am on my way back to Manly. This time for my friend Nat’s Hens party!
I decided tot to drive so I can have a couple of drinks. Instead I am taking the Ferry (!) to Palm Beach and from there a bus to Manly. A long journey but Ambrose ensures it’s a very pretty scenery so it will have to do.Maybe I can have a Poké Bowl from Manly on the way back….? Hmmm I am literally obsessing about this Poké Bowl.
See you guys tomorrow. xx

My old apartment in Barcelona
My old apartment on Calle Pau Clarice here in Barcelona
What an extremely bizarre feeling being back in Barcelona. And even more strange standing outside our old apartment here in Barcelona. Not bad bizarre, just … I don’t know. A lot of memories. Good and less good I guess.
I arrived in Barcelona last Tuesday evening in my little sister jasmine’s apartment in Le Sepps. So far it has been almost all energy and time toward finalizing our Visa stuff. But not I am on my way to have a coffee in our old hoods – El Borne. One of my favorite, if not the favorite areas of Barcelona. What a great city, which Ambrose was with me!I have to take some pictures to show. So far it has been all work! But it is why I am here so. xx

Hiking Pulpit Rock in Blue Mountain
Last Sunday, on our way back from Mudgee we made a stop. Not just any stop, I would say this is one of my favorite places so far in Sydney. Its called Pulpit Rock and it is a magical place. At least I think so.
The weather dropped from 34 to 15 degrees as we drove into Blue Mountain which is where you will find Pulpit Rock. It was raining but that did not stop us. We bought a couple of yummy warm pies and two umbrellas and stared our short hike to this point called Pulpit Rock. It is only 400 meters I think, so not a hard hike. But, it was raining and that means the rocks and mud are super slippery. So we took of our shoes as they started to slow us down. I did my best holding on to my umbrella in the wind, hold on to my bag and shoes, and somehow take a couple of decent pictures.
You have to see it for yourself. So if you are around Blue Mountains, make sure to visit this place. xx

Baby shower and wine tasting tour in Mudgee
Found a couple of pictures from our weekend in Mudgee. We mainly did this weekend road trip to see Burner and Tash. They are about to have a little boy and had invited all of us for a baby shower.
So excited to meet their little boy! Tash is going to have the baby in Sydney and not in Mudgee so maybe we get to visit them at the hospital before they drive back to Mudgee with the new baby. The road trip started Friday afternoon. We made a short stop in the Blue Mountains to see three sisters but we did good, instead of 9:30 pm we reached Mudgee around 7:30. So we started with drinks with Katie and Drew at the Brewery.
I forgot how Mudgee has ( in my opinion) bad red wines. I like full-bodied red wines and that is not to be found in Mudgee. However, their white, rosé and dessert wines are really nice. Although, the one not to be missed when in Mudgee is the port. Make sure you visit Pieter van Gent Winery when you are on a vine tour in Mudgee.
Saturday morning I started with joining Katie’s class. One hour of Vinyasa Yoga, such a good way to start the day. Katie is a Yoga teacher from America. You find more on her classes HERE
After the baby shower a bunch of us headed of for a wine tasting tour. Our road trip was for the baby shower but I just can’t visit Mudgee without visit its wineries.
We ended our weekend in Mudgee with a big BBQ at Drew’s place. Afterwards it was time for a big football game in town. Sunday we booked in 2 breakfast dates, we wanted to see as many of our Mudgee friends as possible before our road trip back to Sydney.
Not bad having living in the same house with a Yoga teacher
Baby shower ideas ♥Nobody wants a surprise picture taken while eating… haha
From the left its Heidi, Elle, me and Kaitlyn
Soon to be a dad – Burner with his nieceAt Pieter van Gents Winery & Vineyard
Top row from the left , Katilyn, Katie, Drews brother, me, Ambrose and Heidi.
Then we have Heath and Drew with Burner on top of them. Thanks to all our Mudgee friends for this weekend. xx
