Harbour bridge
So I finally walked over this damn bridge….4 years later 😉 Better later than never I guess. Aaannnnddd it was just like everyone describes it ; grand, powerful and cool. You get a perfect view over how beautiful this city really is.
Love the last picture especially because its a perfect reflection over rich and poor. Its sick that that sort of shit even goes on in a country like this. The division between being in or out, valued or not. That we still have that even soon to year 2017 🙁
Anyway, the “ugly” (I think its really cool but..) building to the left is apparently getting pulled down anyway so I guess thats one way of sorting out the worlds problem hahaCant wait to see the fireworks going off from this bridge !! Sydney has the most spectacular fireworks and that is perfect for someone like me. I think its one of the coolest things ever! When I get married I want fireworks. Well I want fireworks at any occasion if I could have it.
I walked over the bridge quite early in the morning and I recommend to walk it really early or later in the evening. Middle of the day its way too hot and way too many people.

Open for Inspection
We thought this beautiful place would be our next home!
Just look at it! Reminds me of Napoli.
And then we went inside…. 🙁
So we kept looking
Last Saturday we drove to Sydney for some house inspections. Loved the first one in Potts Point! I mean just look at that building, the mailboxes, the street its on!! The real estate guy told us that the place has no view. What he clearly meant what that it had NO WINDOW 🙁
And for one room witch would be our living room slash kitchen slash bedroom (the real “bedroom” was too small to fit any kind of bed) he asked for 3 references and IF they would consider us we first had to have an interview with the board Zzzzzzzz
So we moved on to some other places, this time – Bronte. We liked one of them, and so did like 50 other people who were there for the inspection. It was 15 min walk to the beach and about the same distance to Bondi Junction. And we would be close to alot of our friends. But still, I cant quite get how even I now think its okey to charge around 14.000 SEK a month for shit places like this!?!
Back in Europe I would not even walk up the stair to look at this hahah. I kept telling Ambrose that for these rent prices you would get a penthouse with a maid back in Barcelona. Strange how us people tend to normalize things than should really be unacceptable. But now we are here and we do the best of the situation I guess 🙂My home on Hall Street
My home on Glenayr Avenue
My home on Curlewis Street
As I walked around I realized how many times I moved around. How many places I called my home. 6 countries so far. Cant even remember all my addresses. Anyway, here are 3 homes of mine in Bondi Beach.
And nooowwww back to Game of Thrones season 6. We only have 5 episodes left and I bet we will be up all night going true them. Going to be very hard to get up 5:20 tomorrow. But, totally worth it 🙂

Memories on a stick
A few days ago my friend gave me a USB stick with old pictures on it she said. I have not had a chance to look at them before and just having a fresh juice and looking trough them. They are so great! Its September 2013, Ambrose really really loves carnivals, rides and all that stuff, I don’t….hahaha. Anyway he got all of us to go with him to some weekend carnival he used to go to as a child. They all went on all these crazy – near death experience” rides and Ambrose was asking me over and over to go on something. So I did, and as you wan see I was not well. Stupid crazy death-rides 🙂
Just remember me struggling to decide between either holding on to my (very) short skirt and not flash everyone OR to hold on to the wall so I wouldn’t fly and crash. Tough decision. Looks like I decided to live and to flash!
But how fun does it not look seeing all of us like nerdy children, super excited over the tickets we just bought.

Supermoon – the 2nd attempt
Could not see anything at first. One giant cloud decided to place itself right in front of the moon!
Last night we went out for a drive to try and see the Supermoon – our second try because on the 14th the Universe decided to place all the clouds it had right across the sky here in NSW 🙁
I just got out of the shower, about to watch a movie and go to bed when Ambrose said; get ready, I’m taking you somewhere. We drove up to some lookout place, we needed to get as above the clouds we could, haha if that makes any sense. At first, nothing! We found a photographer at the lookout with his camera and tripod ready. But then…there it was and it was like watching magic.
I love love love being with someone like Ambrose who is constantly taking me around these little adventures. I will never be bored with this guy hahaThe quality of the pictures are shit because all we had was Ambrose phone, but its the real experience that counts anyway. You cant ever get that feeling on camera.
Then we drove back home, had tea and watched “Finding Dory”.

Weekend in Newcastle
We are totally collapsed on the couch after our short but intense weekend in Newcastle. Ambrose had a couple of friends who are moving out of their house and I guess wanted to have one last house party as a grand finally. Now I have been to quite alot of house parties. I grew up in Sweden where home parties were very popular growing up. (because its so damn cold to go outside I guess 🙂 ) But I have never felt as this misplaced. Ever. Every stereotype imagine we Europeans would have of a home party packed with surfers and their f”lower power” girls was becoming reality right in front of my eyes. haha It was ridiculous, I felt I was in a commercial or something I had a good time, they are alot of fun and extremely friendly and welcoming.
Newcastle is such an interesting city and I can recommend it. We spend the day before and after the party to driving around exploring. And now, like I said earlier, we could not be more tired zzzzzzzzz

Crocodile or Kangaroo for dinner?
I cant believe I actually never even thought about this, that here in Australia they have the option to buy a crocodile, Emu or Kangaroo steak in their ordinary grocery stores !?! I did some Tabata and went afterwords to get dinner, and this is what I find on the shelf right besides the organic beef. Ive had kangaroo before, or I have at least taste it. Its okay, lean and kind of gamy taste. But crocodile…I don’t know, just too scared of the actual animal to be able to even want to try the meat. Dont know if that makes any sense but I mean Come On! Who eats dragons !?!? This coming from a Persian, we eat lamb stomach, chicken feet and fish heads….hahaha Yeaahh go Persians!
Showed Ambrose this picture and of course he wants me to get some crocodile next time I’m at the shops. Ehh Never. He is sooo on his own with this one.

32 degrees
🙂 Snapchat is the best
Suddenly we have around 42 degrees and I have decided that today is the day I am going to get a tan. Its so not fun for me to just lay on the beach so I had to go back up to the car and get our body board. And then calling Ambrose to ask which side I’m suppose to lay on. Turns out I did it wrong of course..a bit embarrassing for me. Guess I play tourist as usual!
This morning the best thing happened, while I was getting my morning coffee around 6am, I tried to call back to Sweden to see if Emilia & Alexander where up, And they were so I got to talk to them before bedtime! I have not even heard there voice since Ive got here is awful. Alexander´s latest new is that he started playing piano/keyboard. He promised to send me videos 🙂 🙂 which his dad did later. hahaha he still has his ruski style hair look hahaha! Ahhhh Mi Amore!!!!!Must get up really early so I get to talk to them both before their bedtime. I already get up 5:30 so basically I need to get up in the middle of the night.
Totally worth it

Anastasia & Leonards´ Birthday Celebrations
Saturday we all drove to Frazer Island and had a birthday picnic for Anastasia. I knew absolutely non one except Ambros’s friend Robbie, whom I met last year. Such a fun day, wish I had some pictures of the crystal clear coral blue water! As you maybe can see from the picture, 90 % were surfers so half the party spent most of the time in the water of course.
Then Sunday we started the day with a drive to Pearl Beach for breakfast. I had smashed avocado, beetroot cured salmon, poached egg and greens. Again, LOVE breakfast in this country! Then we met up with the rest of the family to celebrate Anastasia & Leonard. We had a really good lunch at The Entrance Lake House. If your ever in the area, have a walk around, there seems to be alot of good places and its really pretty.
