Lights Camera Action !
Such a fun day! Today we were shooting the commercial for Australia’s biggest morning tea. I was not planning to go since my emails were piling up. But at the last minute I jumped into a taxi and stressed the poor driver as I was already late.
Ran in to where the shooting took place, got makeup an hair quickly done and then into the “office” scene. I made it just in time before the whole lights camera action began and it was full on.
I liked the whole thing. Felt familiar – like when I was younger doing theater and a couple of the “Bullen” (Swedish TV program) mini movies as a teenager.
Just got home, had a cold shower. The set was boiling hot and I had to act like I has drinking hot coffee in the commercial screen – thought I was going to melt away at some point. Holding that damn hot mug for hours was not great!
Now I am trying Theta Binaural Beat background music while having a cup of tea. Anyone tried Theta Binaural Beat before? Its suiting, but is it as beneficial as they say? -
Picnic lunch with colleagues
Here is basically what I have been doing for the last couple of weeks. Well not sitting in the grass having a picnic with my colleagues. But hanging out with these people – a lot. Basically worked, that’s what I am trying to say that I have been doing lately haha. This is me Elen, Peta, Kylie, Pearl and Tash. Someone came up with the brilliant idea to have a picnic during our lunch break.
Work would be one of the many reasons I have not had time to restart my online journal – yes, that is what I like to call this. Every time I post here it feels like a “Dear diary” moment for me. A bit intimidation but fun at the same time. This journal is actually a win-win situation for me. I get to stay more connected with my family and friends that I dont get to see or talk to on a daily basis anymore. AND, I dont have to log into our De-facto VISA site and log everything Ambrose and I do. I just send our agent this link – Absolutely fantastic!
One other thing has appeared from journaling month after month – it teaches you to be transparent and sort of forces you out of your comfort zone. But more of that later. Now its time for a dessert and time with Ambrose.Side note: Ambrose was at a leadership course through he work today and told me that one of his “assignments” is to undertake one new thing for 30 days – he chose meditation.
So excited – we are going to be meddi-buddies, like to nerds. haha.
I let you know how that goes… -
Fresh Start
Monday morning. A fresh new start. A fresh new site. Just writing it feels like drinking a tall glass of ice water.
I am not going to take away the alluring simplicity of this new beginning by babbling on and on just to fill with content.
Just wanted to say Welcome. And I hope you enjoy.
Good morning Sydney, Good night Europe.
Love,
N
